Hi everyone. I'm thinking on getting some amino acids, but are they good for muscle building? If not, what is the best option you would give to me? What should I buy to get big?

C'mon you all!

Anyone?

I don't think you ought to use Amino's, but rather spend the money on some good protein powder.(Of the Whey type) In that, you'll get all the amino's, plus the benifit of Protein. Also consider Glutamine and Creatine if you can afford it. I've just recently started Glutamine and have noticed alot less soreness after workouts. If you wanna get real huge though, the one supplement that works best is..IRON!! No not the kind in a bottle, the kind you lift. All the supplements in the world won't get you there without that. Take care, and good luck.

BIG P, YOU ADVISED HIM NOT TO USE AMINOS YET YOU TOLD HIM TO CONSIDER GLUTAMINE. DO YOU EVEN KNOW WHAT GLUTAMINE IS???

Yeah I thought I should of mentioned that. Glutamine is indeed an amino acid. The most abundant amino acid in the body I believe. I'm thinking that he's talking about stuff like Amino feul, or Weider BCAA's. Something like that I don't think is worth spending the money on, but rather get them through a good, quality protein powder.

I'm sorry amino amino acids are better then protein powder for muscle building, they are more pure and concentrated. The best amino acids I have ever tried is called Nitrobol Amino Acid Complex
