protein and multivitamins

is it okay daily to take a multivitamin in the morning with breakfast and after weightlifting also have a protein shake I am trying to bulk up a little as well as eating the required meals..Is it okay to take them both in the same day?

I noticed the shake I have been taking has amino acids and protein and other non vitamin essentials, but I wanted to start taking the "mens one a day" seeing all the required daily vitamins that it contains also.
