Hi,

I wanted to ask a question about my training and eating. I am just getting back into the gym after a 10 year break due to medical reasons. I have consulted my doctor about my getting back to the gym, and he thinks it is a great idea. Of course, he tells me to take it slow, and work back up slowly. So, I am focusing on low weights, and proper form. I am also trying to increase my muscle size, but my question is that I have a protein shake before workout, and one right after. Then, about an hour and a half later, I eat a meal high in protein. I eat little meals all day, and include a protein shake before bed. After my workout and post work out shake, I feel really bloated, and I'm not sure if I am doing something wrong. Could you help?

Most protein shakes are milk based and this can cause bloating in many people.

I highly recommend you switch to Amino Acid Complex
