4-AD Supplement Review

4-AD or 4-AD RDe standing for rapid delivery has come under a lot of criticism because of the increase in DHT that it can cause. However the active ingredient being 4-Androstene-3b-ol and 17-one is now combined with an effective effervescent that increases the absorption by 90%.

4-Androstene-3b-ol is a naturally occurring metabolite from DHEA that is now combined with something called cyclodextrin which is a powerful delivery agent increasing the absorption rate drastically. The manufacturers of 4-AD explain the importance of absorbability when it comes to 4-AD.

They say the common way that 4-AD has been delivered in the past was in a capsule form which studies show only achieve a 1.5% absorption. But now with the added cyclodextrin and the effervescent the absorption is boosted to 99% which is a massive difference.

Because 4-Androstene-3b-ol is a prohormone that has shown to increase DHT levels as well as estrogen levels it has received a lot of bad press. But there are many bodybuilders who have posted positive reviews about the increased muscle gain they got from using this product.

If 4-AD is absorbed correctly it will work directly on the muscle to speed up repair and increasing muscle gain achieved over an 8 week period. It has shown to increase testosterone levels very efficiently without serious side effects despite the estrogen bad press it continues to get.

A brief study that was done on the effectiveness of 4-AD in raising testosterone levels naturally showed a 16% increase in regular plasma levels of testosterone. Because of the potential for getting unwanted side effects from this increased testosterone it is recommended that you try it and monitor your results so that you know if it works for you or not. This product is not recommended for teens who have a naturally higher than normal test level anyway.
